Herbal FAQs
You can evaporate the alcohol content in herbal liquids in two ways:
1. Adding the recommended dose to a glass of 20-100mls of boiling water and wait to cool before consuming.
2. Heat your herbal liquid on the stove on VERY low heat (the lowest possible) for 5-10 minutes. Do not use a metal pot, only ceramic or place the tincture in the top of a double boiler over gently simmering water. Remove from heat after 5-10 minutes and once cooled pour back into the bottle. All of our products will have a best before date on the bottle. How long the herbal liquid will last is dependent on the batch of the product. All of our products have a minimum expiry of 6 months to 3 years before they expire, however we recommend using within 12 months of opening. Please contact us for more information on individual herbs.
We source our liquid herbal extracts exclusively from reputable Australian manufacturers who operate under strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
The herbs used are sourced from all countries based on where the herb originates, availability and seasonality. Herbs grow best in their natural environment and ripening rhythms. To find out where a particular herb originates from please contact us.
Where possible we try to source herbs which are certified organic or wildcrafted. In some cases however this is not possible so please contact us for more information on individual herbs.
